   Truly horrifying ruling out of Alabama
   “AL Supreme Court rules IVF embryos are protected under Wrongful Death of a Minor Act”

   This absurd ruling is medical malpractice & will end IVF in AL. People suffering from infertility now have no access.

   Alabama ranks #3 nationally in highest rate of infant mortality.😳MAGAs were never “pro-life.” They were always pro control of women.😐

     @QasimRashid If IVF embryos are "children", can they be used as dependents in tax returns? Can they allow their "parents" to apply for welfare or other social services? The so-called "pro-life" people are anti-women, and at best "pro-birth" regardless of consequences. #VoteBlue

     My son wouldn’t exist without these technologies - such a small-minded decision.

     Update: reading through the decision - oh my, so much wrong on the facts - no way they would get to a logical decision with that foundation.

     Let’s start with the word “alive” and the phrase “kept alive.”

     ...knowing full well that the market for IVF is people with wealth (and influence). This will surely directly affect some state senators, and their backers. Is the goal to force legislators to agree that zygote aren't constuents quite yet?
