Though part of this is that I got distracted learning algebraic geometry, and I never feel like I should count a math or physics textbook as read unless I’ve done a lot of the exercises and can say I’ve digested the content. Book of the year for me was “The Weil Conjectures: On Math and the Pursuit of the Unknown” by Karen Olsson. A non fiction muse on abstract math and brother (math) and sister (philosophy) André and Simone Weil.
