I saw this link elsewhere recently. I don't still have the source in a tab, so I'll just mention this here.
Online likes for toxic social media posts prompt more ... not surprising at all. Most #corpocentric #socnets are designed to be addictive. If someone posts foot pics and gets likes, they'll post more of them. If they post kitty pics or doggy pics and get likes, they'll post more. If they post hideous socio-political concepts and get likes, they'll post more.
Every day, they'll be waiting to hear their phones ding as the likes flow in.
It is almost as though MFB (Meta / Facebook) and XTwitter (Xdotcom / Twitter) direct-connected a tube of heroin to people's brains.
