Good evening.
These short days when it's dark by 4:30 are the pits. But at least the view out the office window is nice.

A glass building sits on the shore of the lake, and the western sunset sky is reflected in its windows. Next to it is the tower of the art deco Madonna della Strada chapel. The lake stretches out behind them. It is a dark, silvery blue, with purple tones from the sky overhead. The purple-gray shadow of the Earth extends a few degrees above the horizon, followed by dusty bands of purple, rose, and orange, then a yellow band of Venus, with a deepening evening sky above.

  @mcnees nice. I always liked the view from your campus. South side wasn’t as scenic, but the point was nice.
