Yikes. You never realize how much, as a scientist, you travel for work until you are forced to confront your travel record. As part of our immigration process in # Canada , we have to provide 10 years of travel outside Canada and the US. My memory was thin. But I kept detailed records. In reviewing those records, I cannot believe how much I traveled for CERN-related activities. I had only 1 “tourism” trip in 10 years outside the US or Canada. No wonder I hate travel so much.
