    @atomicpoet Brands are just as free as anyone to have their own instances and maybe they can convince their 'fans' to follow them.
    I'll bet e.g. apple could do it and find followers easily enough.
    Lots of fan bois for various things around. And then the brand absolutely controls the channel.
