Itβs kind of weird to see a luxury car from the 1990s next to a modern car. That Mercedes was considered a really big car at its time.

This "small" car is 4850 x 2100 meters outside, fits into almost no parking lot, can't use the second lane in Autobahn construction sites, and my wife had to fight hard for it because I found it way too heavy and large for a private car. π£π£π£

Not huge, but still a Benz. βFamily vans have always been bigger too!β - yep. And Trucks are even bigger ;) Accept the simple truth. Cars have in general become bigger, especially wider. Parking spaces have grown with that. Cars occupy more and more space in cities and that doesnβt make a lot of sense.

This is a problem Iβve noticed over the years. Cars *are* closer to me when I ride my bicycle on bike lanes that are just marked, not physically separated from car lanes.
