   @FalconMarkSix Can I strongly encourage anyone who received *literal spyware as a software update* to *not* buy an Android phone when their current phone needs to be replaced?

     @jwcph @FalconMarkSix The iPhone is *drastically* better on privacy, and you can buy a two year old refurbished one and still get longer support than a new Android.

     Don't get me wrong, Apple's closed ecosystem isn't ideal, and I push for regulations that force them to open up their market, but there's absolutely no question Apple has a much better privacy stance.
