   I used to try to learn #Emacs each Summer, but even simple things required keystroke sequences like C-x C-t M-x (on top of mentally translating their non-standard nomenclature) and I usually exited by closing the terminal.
   
   Too hard for mere mortals.

     @drbenfranklin I occasionally use nano ... but given the choice, I prefer vi or vim, even though I barely scratch the surface of what they can do.
