     If you do order a Mac Pro, make sure you pick up a 12 Core Xeon ($40) and 64GB (~$35) from eBay and some NVMe SSD.

     The Samsung M393B4G70BM0-YH9 module works on the Mac Pro 2013, well once you remove the heatsinks. They are available on eBay for < $20 a pop. If you want to get 128GB, and understand the downside, not a bad price.

     Now this Mac Pro is half Hackintosh. Still not a fan of Apple selling these things until 2019 and then dropping support them 3 years later.

     I still use one of mine as my main fileserver, just sits there quietly doing its thing. Current uptime 166 days, pretty sure I only rebooted it to update the OS.

     The Trashcan MacPro eBay prices are into the “why not” price range (<= $300). If you ever wanted one might be a good time to pick one up, if nothing else it makes for an attractive piece of tech art on your desk.
