@hosh I’m working on a longer post. the tl;dr is the amount of corporate data collection is massive without adequate protection of that data, as we’ve seen again and again. The gov’t mass surveillance is unconstitutional and ineffective. I get that lots of “free services” are free because the sites are selling us at the product, but I feel my trust has been abused and myself undervalued.
