   @hosh I’m working on a longer post. the tl;dr is the amount of corporate data collection is massive without adequate protection of that data, as we’ve seen again and again. The gov’t mass surveillance is unconstitutional and ineffective. I get that lots of “free services” are free because the sites are selling us at the product, but I feel my trust has been abused and myself undervalued.      Also this documentary puts all the various leaks stories together in one narrative of the surveillance state in the US. (Incredibly, most of which is confirmed by on camera interviews with the former top echelon of the NSA).
