   @nickheer Just read your post on disk space used by system files, and agree that these ravenous but not-very-transparent demands are getting to the point of being disrespectful to users.

   Any thoughts on tvOS? If anything, it seems even less transparent. It’s hard to get any real accounting of what’s being used, and there’s a sense that over the last few versions more and more space is being eaten up beyond just what you’d expect from higher resolutions, more demanding formats, etc.

     @nickheer That’s what I’ve always thought, that there’s more “turnover” for tvOS. But anecdotally I am seeing more complaints about storage-related issues for AppleTV: no room to install new apps despite the “Manage Storage” list showing little space devoted to currently installed apps, screensavers not downloading, etc. Could be something else, but storage info is less detailed here than the other platforms so how would one know.

     @mcnees You know, I hadn’t thought of tvOS in this way. But its storage is also used in a more temporary way than iOS or MacOS, I imagine.
