   @marthawells Fingers crossed! Here in Chicago it should drop to -8, which isn’t completely out of the ordinary, but it will be the first real test of whether I properly winterized our new house.

     So later this afternoon a cold front will come in and the temp will drop to around 17F here, so please cross your fingers for our half-assed corrupted power grid. It will be in the low 20s at night for the next 3 days, though we aren't supposed to get any precipitation and it's supposed to get up to the 30s during the day.
