     @mcnees @SchnittGetsReal I put my last animation on YouTube to save the mastodon server's bandwidth and hd space. But it doesn't autoplay in the TL like uploading an animation to mastodon

     @duetosymmetry @mcnees @SchnittGetsReal the mastodon.social admin posted this morning that the CDN hardware in charge of dealing with pictures uploads and broadcasting had issues, and that he had made a mistake in its configuration while trying to fix it. Now one has to wait until some sync of DNS servers for the mistake to be corrected.
