   - Moved repo to codeberg.org/forgefed/forgefed, and development has resumed with new contributors!

   - Site is now at forgefed.org!

   - Chat is at #forgefed:libera.chat, on IRC/Matrix

   - Forum is moving to socialhub.activitypub.rocks

   - Gitea federation is WIP

   - I've resumed work on Vervis, intending to relaunch it and put federated patches/MRs in the spec

   - Simplified 1st spec draft is WIP

   - I may step down at some point, project future seems bright now ^_^

     @codepuppy Interesting. gitblit seems to be a pure-Java git forge and git client?
     
     I think if it used @forgefed it would mention it. It looks more like they mean that two gitblit instances can mirror each other's non-git state by syncing gitblit's own internal format.

     And if I use a Java version of something like Gitea, I'll write a Java implementation of ForgeFed using JGit someday if this really comes to life :3

     They use the word "federation"! Is this ForgeFed or something else??

     (What a great birthday ~~present~~ thing to happen X3 )

     I do hope this works! The lack of this is the only thing keeping me from hosting my own server and not relying on GitHub!

     (Although I still plan on keeping my repos on it and having a merger daemon thing with GitHub (and possibly hosts) as a secondary repo mirror for people who want to interact there :> )
