     @EU_Commission are we doing something to redirect grain and others away from foodstock and towards humans? We can’t easily increase the net production, but we can increase the efficiency by reducing the meat production.

     @ArneBab @EU_Commission As long as the industry gets subsidized, the market cannot react. Stopping subsidies is a necessary precondition, it may very well not be sufficient.

     @jens I don’t believe in the market doing that. At the very least not in time to prevent millions from starving to death. Also people will want to be able to buy more meat again afterwards. @EU_Commission
