woke up this morning thinking about candle powered computers. light a candle to turn it on, put out the candle to turn it off. it probably smells really nice.

A candle flame releases heat at around 80W, With a Stirling engine at 20% efficiency you can generate 16W which is enough for a lower-spec laptop. It'd take a while to 'boot up' after you light the flame, and wouldn't turn off immediately when you blew out the candle, but it might be fun regardless
