Santa Claes ๐ธ๐ช๐ญ๐ฐ๐ (clacke@libranet.de)'s status on Thursday, 26-May-2022 09:47:15 UTC Santa Claes ๐ธ๐ช๐ญ๐ฐ๐ It's fun enough that French initialisms are often backwards compared to English or Swedish (e.g. OTAN vs NATO), but today I also realized that on a Swedish or German compass East will be O (for Ost), but on a French compass West will be O (for Ouest), and also in relevant abbreviations for organisations.
TIL the West African States Central Bank is of course the Bank Centrale des รtats de l'Afrique de l'Ouest, BCEAO.
Actually English is middle-endian here and the official English is the en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_โฆ .-
