@coyote I think it is worth adding that many of those things are only visible if the admin goes into the database (or file system). There are occasional rumors that employees of the big centralized networks are reading people's "private" posts & messages (and potentially misusing that information), but in the Fediverse, it can only happen if the admin intentionally looks through the database.
As most of them have other things to do (jobs, family, etc), I expect it doesn't happen much.

@lnxw37a2 Yes you're right! This was written in hasty excitement to get something put up, I think I'll put this on some wiki or guide or more permanent place where it can stay updated and everyone can edit it
You're right, I'm certain 97%+ of fedi admins never do, but pawoo and mastodon.social already feed data to advertisers, who's to say they wouldn't feed DMs? I don't think they do, but it would be very easy.
