     @clacke while I was moving I came across a funeral program from my grandfather's passing. It was ten years ago. His funeral felt only a few years ago.

     My wife and I married 13 years ago. The invitations, place cards, table map and songbook were made in a combination of Scribus[0], Inkscape[1], awk and sed.

     @Moon I'm not the type to wear suits very much. Whenever I put a suit jacket on I will find some program sheet in the inside pocket that is for the latest wedding or funeral I went.
     
     My parents have outlasted many, most, of their friends. So far it looks like they'll stick around for a while still, but from time to time I'll get reminded that you never know what'll happen next. I was super worried how casually they took it during the worst of the 'rona.
