Ruben (trregeagle@social.mjd.id.au)'s status on Wednesday, 11-May-2022 10:49:53 UTC Ruben After getting through The Mundi Mundi Bash without a sniffle I was beginning to think I was immune to covid. I flew home for Flora Day and that destroyed my illusions. Two days later I began to feel exceptionally tired. I tried to tell myself it was jetlag but it wasn't.
My visit home was to be a brief a week with my Dad and a week with my Mum. My Dad and his ever patient wife, Gill, are passing me bowls of cereal and sandwiches through a crack in the door. Conversations are conducted with me in my room and my dad yelling from the landing. It's like being 15 again except my Dad has the upperhand as I don't have badly recorded mix-tapes belting out tunes to irritate him.
Hopefully I'll stop with the sneezing, coughing and general disease spreading in a few days.Santa Claes πΈπͺππ°π likes this.
