Why aren't more people talking about Nitzer Ebb? They were a huge part of my growing up.
Apparently they're actually still performing. I need to get to see them live. @thegibson why didn't you tell me they are still touring?

@loke never got to see them, but have always been a fan.
@thegibson The best synth show I went to was at a small stage at the University of Stockholm where they managed to get DAF, S.P.O.C.K., Elegant Machinery and Front 242 (and one more band?) to play. The audience couldn't have been more than a few hundred and it was packed.
DAF played 13 songs, and started and ended with Der Mussolini. They sure knew their audience. 🙂
@loke honestly?
I thought they had retired. :)
That would be a great show, and now they are on my list again!
@thegibson Speaking of classinc synth bands, I just realised that Frontline Assembly has released some new stuff in the last several years, none of which I had never heard before.
I saw them live back in the 90's in a small club in some suburb of Stockholm. It was an amazing show, and I'd love to see them again. They haven't toured since 2018 though.
@thegibson One thing I remember from that show was that before the show started, a guy (who was clearly not part of the team) did a mic check, not knowing the distortion was enabled... He went "testing testing... Oh wow. Cool. Hello." and then started making noises just to play with the sound. 🙂
