   Watched The Tick (2017) S01E01.
   
   It works and it's fun, but so far I just can't stop thinking that Patrick Warburton was made for that role.
   
   Serafinovicz has the voice, but his body doesn't have the bulk to really match the voice and convey the force of well-intentioned clumsiness.
   
   I'm just currently stuck with the afterimage of the previous incarnation, otherwise I really like it. The guy playing Arthur is great for it. The writing and dialogue is on point.
   
   After thinking all of this, I saw that Warburton is actually the producer. If he has the trust that they'll pull it off, I'm still giving it a chance.

     @Moon I'm uneducated. I know the comics and cartoons exist but only actually saw the live action.

     @clacke the comic was good. The thing I didn't like about Warburton was his voice doesn't sound "heroic" enough. The cartoon nailed his voice in my mind

     @clacke I dunno lol but with him and Arthur's voice were perfect. The cartoon was great in other ways too. No media has done the tick exactly like the comic book which is a shame. Like him constantly being attacked by ninjas that he dispatches without even thinking

     I rewatched E01 and then saw E02. Serafinowicz is great, as soon as I managed to shake off my preconceived idea of what The Tick should look like.
