   A friend of mine, retired captain, while visiting the ship he had to drive found behind a door a whole room used as workshop, with a lathe, a mill and tons of tools, left by the previous chief machinist… and nobody was aware of it!

     Found this extra space behind one of the walls of the ship, added hinges, turned it into a door.
