     @pixelcode Precisely. I am not aware of any version of Android distributed by Google that does *not* ship with com.google.android.dialer and com.google.android.messages, but by all means @frumble please clarify where I am wrong.

     @downey I read this differently: If you use Google’s Messages app and Google’s phone dialer app. No need to over-dramatize.
