     I found out about it because they made yet another one, this time with David Tennant and that's all I need to know really. It'll be great.

     @clacke @FiXato The new Tennant version is delightful. I watched it last month, the whole series through on consecutive nights (which for me counts as a binge), and now I'm fighting the urge to rewatch it.
     
     I can't remember much about the Coogan film, apart from realising a few minutes in that it was a Jackie Chan vehicle, with Coogan going completely to waste. But that's Hollywood for you. No use for British actors except as the villain in a film about lots of explosions.
