     @clacke Nope. No idea. I follow them as well. And I don't seem to have any issues.
     What exactly do mean by 'deadnames'? Is the display (user) name not updated?

     @alfred Yes, it's showing the old display name. You are seeing the same name shown on octodon.social/@cwebber/ when you go to libranet.de/contact/416913 ? I see a name that is from last year.
     
     (are contact ids of remote contacts libranet-user-independent?)

     @clacke I see. I have the old name, too. The contact data update is a background job. But it should be upated immediately when you refetch the contact data manually. Maybe we have a bug. 😕

     @clacke Ok. I have changed the username and the profile picture of my mastodon.social account. After 15 seconds I have the new contact data on Friendica. Profile image and user name were automatically updated. Weird.

     @alfred Maybe libranet happened to be down when the update happened. And then re-fetching, whether manually triggered or scheduled, doesn't work well?

     @FiXato @alfred Updated for me as well now. So maybe a follow triggers some fetch that re-fetch or the scheduled update doesn't?

     FYI her name and profile picture now seem to be current again after I followed her account from my Libranet account. @clacke @alfred can you confirm it's updated for you both now too?
