   Damn, emergency act invoked in so called Canada for the first time ever. Curious that it comes after (seemingly) successful direct actions by residents against the convoy. Seems like the state wants to take initiative back, to the detriment of autonomous action.

     @anarchistbicycleclub was listening to CBC coverage today and heard a reporter get COMPLETELY caught off guard when the person they were interviewing pointed out that counter-demonstrators were able to stop an action by the convoy while Ottawa police clearly haven't been able to manage anything like that.
