Same goes with 3D modelling & design. I learned PowerAnimator on a SGI Indy before I was allowed to use the MaxImpact. If you need to wait for too long because what you do is to complex, you start to thing about easier/better solutions to achieve what you want.
@akiva First time around, I misread it as "Do you want to write fast software, or use a slow computer?". I guess it's the same sentiment, but from a different timescale perspective.
