"I'm so happy when I see 60-year-olds act like little children", I said, referring to a person I had just been talking about, also of the dream, "because then I feel I'll be an ok 60-year-old".
"60?", they said surprised, "Well, how old are you now?"
"Just over 40", I said, "but the last 20 years have gone by real quick"
I stand by what dream-me said.-

He had been giddy and eager to show off that he had got his living room stereo downstairs set up just right, so that he could put a timer on the volume and also control the volume remotely from the bedroom upstairs. -
Santa Claes πΈπͺππ°π (clacke@libranet.de)'s status on Monday, 31-Jan-2022 23:55:10 UTC Santa Claes πΈπͺππ°π Other than that the dream was really a kind of Quantum Leap meets 12 Monkeys meets Groundhog Day scenario where we had gone back in time from some wasteland timeline to try for the umpteenth time to set things right and avoid the apocalypse.
I was in someone else's body, but my friends recognized me right away. From that point on we ignored the apocalypse thing entirely and went on some kind of roadtrip to visit some people. We went in three cars and it was a struggle to coordinate, because everyone went on their own side quests all the time.
"What? You're already on the E4? But we're still here trying to find you before we leave town!" -
