     @clacke while I knew that they were Dutch (and that they went through a couple of name changes (The Tornados -> The Golden Earrings -> Golden Earrings -> Golden Earring)), I didn't know that Barry Hay was born in India to a Dutch Jewish mother and Scottish father. I guess that explains his English fluency and name. :)
     I was curious if it was a stage name or not.
