@sprkwd many musicians (authors) believe the recipes are their 'property'. which is a consequence of competitive environment and capitalism. if only more people would know we're here for this short ride and that collaboration makes life so much more enjoyable than horse race.

  You can create music 'recipes' or instructions and hand them out and even though there's the same raw ingredients the meal itself will be totally different.

  What's great about music is that you can teach and show the techniques you use to make your music, somebody else can take this and using the same systems and tools and make something else completely different.
