   Some person on Reddit is whining about how PeerTube isn't "truly decentralized" because it still relies on central servers.
   
   All I can think is, at least the videos aren't all in a distributed ledger that every instance is forced to download? At least it's Free Software and federation is good enough for propping up ad-hoc communication networks? At least it's not corporate malware?

     @sean so true. Decentralisation isn’t a panacea and people need to stop thinking that blockchains and algorithms will fix serious societal and perpetuated inequality.

     Can you imagine all peertube instances having all video of all instances. We could need huge servers with Zetas of data.
