     @jezra Maybe its just where I've been getting crosswords from these past few years. I found Shortz on f-droid way back when. I do the dailies on that during downtime at work. Oreo has been in heavy rotation of late.

     @NYbill i can't recall the last time 'oreo' was an answer... but I did subscribe to the oldest California newspaper just for the crossword.

     @NYbill crosswords on a pocket computer? No thanks. If I can't enter the letters with a pen, in all caps, it just won't work for me :)
