     My wife says this imagined future where people make music and art after everything falls apart, she says this is all bullshit and wouldn't happen.

     I said if we aren't going to make things after things fall apart, we never would have made any of it in the first place. We painted on walls when life was nasty, brutish and short and we had nothing. Just colorful dirt.
