Can you give me a short summary why you started working on Moiré, rather than continuing with Mixxx? Mainly personal circumstances, or do you think rewriting the app is also better from a technical perspective?

    Hello, After working on Mixxx for 6.5 years, I am exploring the possibility of starting fresh with a new DJ application written in Rust. So far I have no code to show, only a placeholder repository with a roadmap.   @be I'm actually very interesting in the social component of FLOSS, and I'm quite unhappy with the current overall situation (especially many people not caring).
  I already followed some of your "rants" about Mixxx and PR workflow and things and stuff, I'm very interested in more details or some summaries if you feel like sharing it.
  The most useful and least time-wasting would probably to talk about your overall experience and how the situation could be improved.

  @be For Codeberg, I have one idea around for about (more than?) a year. Creating some kind of awareness task force to not only enforce strict guidelines, but rather help teams in case of conflicts etc and monitor the overall healthiness in projects, give advice etc.
  I'm yet to figure out how to improve acceptance for those who strongly oppose Code of Conducts and social stuff as "not interested", "not my business", "feelings aside, let's focus", all that without noticing their off behaviour ...
