The microwave oven in this #hotel room is not working. I suppose it is probably a circuit breaker that flipped.

Well, it was not the ground fault interrupter, but looking for GFI plugs helped solve the problem. In the cabinet above the microwave, there's a plug where the cord goes in. Other than opening it the day I arrived, I had never opened it again (too high to use). Turns out they had knotted the cord, such that it had been loosely inserted this whole time. I unknotted it and plugged it firmly into the socket.
With that advice, @geniusmusing avoided me having to get their maintenance guy in here tomorrow.
