Went out to look at the planets again. They’re quite a bit closer together than they were even a few days ago. I got one good picture, not a through-a-telescope look, but something pretty close to what a naked eye view looks like. I found one item that I could prop against and rest the camera itself against.
I’ll try to post the picture soon. In true naked eye view, Saturn looks almost orange right now, while Jupiter is more whitish. Usually when I see either of them, the planet is yellowish.

Also, I stood (and kneeled) out there for about fifteen minutes. The whole time I was there, some very bright star was below and to the left of the planets. After it had been in one spot for almost thirty minutes, it started moving and turned out to be an airplane. Not a helicopter, an airplane.
No flashing, different color lights, just a single bright, stationary, white light. And then it became a plane with a dimmer white light flashing as it flew to the West of my location and continued northward.
Was it a #UFO? No, it was clearly an #airplane. I would just like to know how it performed the illusion of staying still for thirty minutes.

I took one shot of the moon. It might be blurred due to motion, as I couldn’t get it from my propped position (and my knees were starting to complain about being on cold concrete for so long).
