   Yes, #California government is mostly accelerating, going the wrong way, but I can't help but feel this person is exaggerating.
   
   Perhaps this sort of overstatement is necessary to get National Review to pick up your article.

     I think Gov Newsom cancelling the high speed rail line was a dumb move. Imagine travelling from #NorCal to #SoCal in two to three hours instead of eight to ten hours. Even if governor.next restarts to program, it will take years and millions or even billions of dollars to make the abandoned infrastructure usable again.
