After #Daddy_A upgraded his GPU, now he wants a newer CPU and more RAM. (And of course, he's trying to figure out how to get disks for the NAS I sent him for his birthday.)
A couple of years ago, I shipped him the parts to build a gaming PC (and a 2nd, lower spec PC for the kids). He's been gradually improving it ever since.
I also sent almost identical parts to my nephew ( #lazyNephew ), who spent a lot of time grumbling about performance, and is just now starting to plot his parts upgrade plan.
Sorry, I'm not a zillionaire. Even though I bought some pretty expensive stuff (to me ... just the GPU card costed more than pretty much any pre-assembled computer I've ever bought for myself), it wasn't top of the line "I made a million dollars streaming last year" stuff.

I may be. I hear his complaints often, but (as another nephew said), there's a reason he asked me for the computer, rather than one of his other uncles. (At the time, he was unemployed and hoped to become a Twitch streamer instead of having to get another job.)
