Former Bob Jonkman -- Please use the new server at https://gs.jonkman.ca (bobjonkmanformer@sn.jonkman.ca)'s status on Saturday, 03-Jan-2015 02:03:20 UTC Former Bob Jonkman -- Please use the new server at https://gs.jonkman.ca The biggest problem with #GnuPG encrypted e-mail is that the meta-data is not encrypted, so I expect that #Darkmail will be designed to fix this. The other biggest problem with GnuPG encrypted e-mail is that GnuPG offers no forward secrecy - if your keys are compromised, so are all your previous messages encrypted with those keys. I hope Darkmail fixes that too. And the other other biggest problem with GnuPG encrypted e-mail is that it's just too difficult for the average person to use, even with good tools like #Enigmail. I hope Darkmail addresses that too. If anyone has any other other other biggest problems with GnuPG encryption I'd love to hear them. !crypto -
