@rye Let me also mention that college / university is not for everyone and not necessary for every job. I'd encourage you to figure out what you're most interested in doing and figure out what you need to get there.
I think we're doing a grave disservice by making everyone think they absolutely have to go to college (where the key thing you're supposed to learn is critical thinking, also known as asking uncomfortable questions instead of just accepting what your supervisor or manager tells you) in order to get any kind of job (most of which involve turning off your brain and doing exactly what you're told).
