   @masterofthetiger Pulse added a "feature" imitating Windows a while ago where they tried to "simplify" the volume levels so that instead of individual programs having their own volume levels, there was "one" volume level

   Except even that wasn't really. It ended up really changing it as the volume went up, but when you moved an individual program down, that one program would be quieter, so you might turn up the general volume and be "blasted" by another program.

     @masterofthetiger I can't believe they set this "feature" by default. I hurt my ears so many times because of this behavior.
