It sounds like a different sort of furlough is coming. There is a reason I won’t liquidate the dividend-paying stocks. Even though it is a small bucket it may be all I have for income quite shortly. The funny bit is that I hold a small amount in federal savings bonds but those haven’t reached minimum maturity yet.
