Apparently the Office of Legal Counsel adopted many of the same ideas as me on why the tax returns of POTUS could not be disclosed to Ways & Means. I’ve been working for the bureau for too long and my job revolves around 26 USC 6103 way too much. See: https://www.justice.gov/olc/file/1173756/download

In short, Democrats on Ways & Means thought they were clever but didn’t consider the entirety of the Internal Revenue Code. Uncle Stupid is still a mean drunk.
