I am wondering if #Haskell is worth bothering with... I've just written some code to solve a problem in it. And the best solution I could devise was the functional equivalent of a "do while" loop.
It was a solution to https://adventofcode.com/2018/day/10
https://indy.im/attachment/122538
It goes around a loop modifying a List of points, until the area of the points bounding box is a reaches a local minimum.
It just doesn't seem very functional. but I can't think of a better way to do this.

@jezra well... I am working through the questions from Advent of Code 2018 and solving them with Haskell, but perhaps they are not particularly well suited to functional solutions

@jezra yes! I've been hacking on Haskell off and on for a little while now. I worked through the "Monad Challenges" https://mightybyte.github.io/monad-challenges/ sometime last year
