Jon Kulp (jonkulp@micro.fragdev.com)'s status on Wednesday, 17-Dec-2014 02:47:08 UTC Jon Kulp @eric I haven't tried to mess with the screensaver images yet, but that's one of the first things a lot of people do. I did install an alternate ebook reader that supports epub format and has hyphenation. What I'd really like is a menu option for left justification. -

Jon Kulp (jonkulp@micro.fragdev.com)'s status on Wednesday, 17-Dec-2014 13:10:20 UTC Jon Kulp @x1101 with the KOreader in jailbroken Kindle you can reflow pdf text (then adjust fontsize as desired) or manually crop whitespace. This is good for all the JSTOR articles I have to read, which only come as pdf. I tried both, prefer the reflow option even though pagination is kinda squirrelly. -
Jon Kulp (jonkulp@micro.fragdev.com)'s status on Wednesday, 17-Dec-2014 13:32:43 UTC Jon Kulp @x1101 really easy compared to a phone. Unpack a zip file into device root directory, run "update software" from device menu. Differs slightly depending on device. There's at least one model where you can just stick an mp3 file on the device and click Play and it jailbreaks the device for you. -

Jon Kulp (jonkulp@micro.fragdev.com)'s status on Thursday, 18-Dec-2014 03:20:25 UTC Jon Kulp @eric I would definitely side-load everything onto that. It'd be hard to annotate books too, I guess.
