with the new filtering / rewriting facility we now have a system in Pleroma that allows very fine-grained control over what's going inside your database. This allows:

- Blocking domains and users
- Removing domains and users from the public TLs
- Removing keywords from the public TLs
- Blocking keywords
- Wordfilters (tbh -> desu)
- Auto-nsfw hiding for certain domains
- Filter emoji
- Add emoji
- and more!

The important part is that this gives you real control over your incoming data, not just a general block / banhammer. I hope this will lead to a lot less blocking on the fediverse, because there are other options now.
