@deadsuperhero i have a hard time believing that consciousness is non-deterministic. a non-linear dynamic system could more than explain all of the variations in human behavior and allow for creativity and individuality without resorting to non-determinism. which is kind of sobering because that means free will is more or less an illusion. at best you might say that consciousness is probabilistic if it requires some kind of quantum phenomena, but that's still only an approximation of free will.
