   @cypnk Yeah, that sort of thing is standard here.

   You buy a SIM card with a "video" package that gives you all-you-can-eat video on their provider of choice, but everything else costs extra, and rates are high. Or "social" or whatever.

   Unbundled data SIMs end up being almost unusable because the caps are so low and you have to keep buying more BW all the time. Or at least I did.

   It's so bad I actually just roam on a SIM from the U.K. all the time. It's cheaper and better service.

     @herrabre @cypnk In Sweden, local rescue services sometimes use Danish SIM cards, because there's no Swedish provider that lets you roam on all Swedish mobile phone networks.

     @michcioperz @herrabre @cypnk I don't know what kind of anticompetitive shenanigans the network operators are up to that stops this from being real.
     
     A virtual operator that roamed all ... five or whatever ... 2G, 3G and 4G network operators in Sweden, that would be really attractive. But it seems every virtual operator is tied to one 2G, one 3G and one 4G network exclusively.

     The thing is, the fact that there are virtual operators at all tells me that there probably is such legislation.
